I am an associate professor in the Department of Economics at Hong Kong Baptist University. I obtained my Ph.D. in Social Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2015. My research interests lie in the fields of Political Economy, Economic History, and Long-term Economic Development.

I also serve as the associate director of the Centre for Business Analytics and the Digital Economy in the School of Business.
